Today is the 14th of july. An important day for french person, because it commemorate "La prise de la Bastille".

La Bastille was a prison (there are not lots of prisonners, but it's symbolic), during the french revolution, on 14 july 1789, the revolutionnaires freed all the prisonners, and destroy the prison.

Nowaday, it's the biggest commemoration in France, with the army make demonstration on Champ Elysée, and in the evening, each small village have a fireworks.
